Half moon nails

My first attempt at half moon/crescent moon nails! Avon's "midnight plum" on the bottom and Sally Hansen's "Lacey Llilac" on the top.

I love this modern take on a french tip, sort of like a reverse french tip! After playing around with the nail colors I had, I decided it looked best paired with different shades of the same color.

I achieved this look by
1. Messily painting the midnight plum color on the bottom half of my nail, leaving the top half blank.
2. Covered the bottom half of my nail with those circular stickers to help connect a ripped hole in lined paper.
3. Painted the part of the nail ABOVE the paper hole sticker with the Llilac color, and finished with a top coat.
4. Wallah! :)
